I'm so excited...this morning the Sun goes into fiery, dramatic, generous, loving LEO!!
In fact we have several planets in the sign of Leo for the next few weeks! So right now, Leo is the most powerful sign in the skies! You'll feel it's energy too! Just read the news! The candidates will be vying for our attention as Leo is "the entertainer" ... the "actor" and each will really be wanting to take center stage!!
I am NOT politically savvy so I am NOT going to go into all that! But I will tell you from an astrological standpoint what I get from our two candidates!
First: Obama--Born August 4th, 1961 (oh my gawd, he's only a year older than me...no wait, technically 9 months! I'm OOOLLLDDD
He's a PROUD Leo!!! (Speaking of Leo and so trust me, this guy is going to claim center stage...if you haven't noticed already with the amount of news coverage he's been getting this week alone!)
His Rising Sign is regal, aristocratic and very humanitarian-oriented Aquarius!
And his sign of communications is ALSO strong, fiery, Leo!!
His planet of emotions is in flexible, youthful, restless Gemini! (Geminis are the Peter Pan of the zodiac! And notice how he doesn't look his age!?)
Now on to McCain: Born August 29th...he's a meticulous, discriminating, detail oriented Virgo. His Moon is in Capricorn and Capricorns are the born care-takers of the zodiac. His Rising Sign is that of Libra and his planet of communication is also Libra.
When it comes to what he thinks, says and feels, it's all very Libran like in that he weighs the pros and cons of an issue. He's been like a thorn in the side to the Republicans because he's somewhere in the middle actually and that really does scream LIBRA! Libras are fair-minded and diplomatic.
In his communications skills...when not trying to gun for an opponent, he is also fair and diplomatic and he tries to find a middle ground.
Of COURSE I am ONLY considering a few factors here in regards to our candidates and their astrological planetary placements!
But this might give you a tiny thumbnail sketch about what they are like from the STARS' point of view!

Now I repeat,...I'm not the brightest crayon in the toolshed about polyticks...so I can't debate cha' on the stuff BUT just today I was talking to my fiance, Mr. H. about the astrological aspect of the two candidates and he said point blank..."on the basis on astrology ALONE who would you pick?"
I hm'd and haw'd and cringed a little and said, "wellll....just on the basis of his detail oriented Virgo...his weigh-the-pros-and-cons Libra Rising and his care-taking, disciplined, responsible Capricorn Moon...I GUESSSS, McCain.
Fiance reminded me that he too had a Capricorn Moon and how well he takes care of ME!
Good point.
Well, if nothing else, this is going to be the most interesting election we've had in a lonnnnng time!!!!
(PS...fiance says he's still not quite sure who to vote for..thank God we have 5 more months to do our research and study up on both! Right now I'm too dumb about things to form an intelligent decision.)

Oh and on a kinda' sad note..speaking of missing our dads...my dad died on the 12th of Aug. 1987...daughter came along on the 30th. Dad never got to see my first born..
But my consolation...I'm SURE he is protecting her now from where he's at!

I'm voting for McCain
I'm horrible, I haven't voted since gosh..was it before the 2000 election. I am SLOWLY oh so slowly trying to make myself a bit more intelligent about the candidates.
My big problem with McCain...he just seems like this grumpy ole grampy! But as for his "record"...I've got to know from where I speak if I plan on being an intelligent voter!

When you do your research you'll find McCain has a terrific sense of humor and is only grumpy when Congressmen do things such as adding costly unnecessary-spending earmarks to proposed legislation, which he has never done.
